Welcome to Pillar and Base. I’m honored to have you here. My name is Kevin.

I love investing. I was not born with the proverbial ‘silver spoon’. This is why when I was in my early twenties, I decided I wanted to take control of my life and seek as much freedom as possible. Today, that means investing. That is when my financial education began.

I have been involved with real estate for over 6 years. I am an investor, I have been a Real Estate Sales Associate and Realtor (No, they’re not the same), and I’ve been a Mortgage Loan Officer. I have experience, both personally and professionally, in many aspects of real estate.

I earned my Master of Business Administration in 2020 and a Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics in 2024. I pursued my MBA because I am very passionate about business and finance and love helping others with my education and experiences. My MS was because I wanted to dive deeper into the world of analytics to see how things tick.

This is why many people have come to me over the years for help with their real estate, investing, and financial needs. I am always incredibly fulfilled when I can help someone get that right house, figure out the best mortgage product, or help them find the courage and means to get started with their real estate journey.

I love educating people and it has brought me a lot of happiness because it is something that I am so passionate about.

After a while I started to think about ways that I can help even more people, and the answer was obvious: Start a blog.

So here I am, utilizing one of society’s relatively newest forms of communication with incredible technological potential that our ancestors could only dream of.

Along our journey I will do my very best to uphold my oath to you:

I will fail.

It is in our failures that we grow and become better than our previous selves.

I will be wrong.

I will do my very best to help and educate to the best of my ability but I will fall short and I hope you can guide me with grace to help me improve.

I will never be perfect,

but the pursuit of perfection will be fun.

And, lastly, I will always care and I will try to help and keep thinking of ways to make the world a better place through financial education.
